Bayside Elementary Media Specialist Mary Ann Lunsford receives a congratulatory hug from Emerald City Schools Board Chairman Dr. Blake Bradley. Lunsford was named the 2006-2007 Emerald City Schools Teacher of the Year during the Monday meeting of the Emerald City Schools Board of Education meeting.

Lunsford has been with ECS since 1986. She graduated from Georgia Southwestern with both bachelor's and master's degrees in education and earned her Education Specialist's Degree from West Georgia.

"Books are my link to the world and I want all students to experience the love of reading and books," Lunsford said recently. Congratulations to Lunsford!
