| What Book Club Means To Me By: Monica It means taking home a book, reading it then coming back and talking about the book. I think it is fun especially snack. I really like our little book club in our valley. My mom has a big book club. So now we have our little one. An opportunity for my daughter and I to read the same boo, comment and discuss the book. Talk with a group about the book. Mostly mother and daughter time. By: Cami Book club means a bunch of people enjoying a good book together and coming together to enjoy it even more. Book Club is a great way for kids and parents to read together. It encourages kids to read for entertainment and teaches them how to hold group discussions on a single topic. I think book club is a great addition to Potomac School. By: Gretchen I love the opportunity book club provides in the diverse reading material. It’s not always the genre I would have chosen which expands my horizons. Mostly, I love hearing the kids talk about the book… it’s so neat to have a peek into their minds. They are so intelligent and insightful! By: Rachael It means fun, quiet peaceful hours reading, discussion for that book, and fun times in the library in our school talking and thinking about that book.
In short: BOOK CLUB = FUN
Book Club means a get together with friends and discuss books. Whether they are great or just so-so. All I all it’s a wonderful event. Thank-you Mrs. Linnell sooo much!!!
